FaithQuest United Methodist Church

Serves Atascocita, Humble, Huffman and Kingwood

We like to call FaithQuest a "Post-Traditional" United Methodist Church and it may be different from the churches you’ve visited before. Our  worship  service  is  designed  to help you connect with God, whether you are a committed Christ-follower, or just beginning to ask the “God Questions.”

We take “God Questions” seriously.  Many  people struggle  to  make  sense of God,  and  often  feel disconnected from Him. So our music is designed to give you some time to praise God,  and then it will transition to a quieter time to  reflect and pray.

We take the Bible seriously, but it can be difficult to understand. So we study scripture each week. Our goal is that you will come away with an idea of what God thinks, not just what the pastor thinks.

We take the Sacraments seriously, so we celebrate Holy Communion every week. Our Communion table is open to everyone,  no matter what your religious background.  We also offer various sacred spaces throughout our worship center to help you respond to God. If you're not sure how you connect  to God,  then grab another cup of coffee and just  “be”  for a little while.  You might even begin to hear the voice of God for yourself.

 Our Mission:

"Connecting People to God"

     Through four spiritual practices ...

Our discipleship focus:

To help all Christ-followers answer, for themselves, the "FaithQuestion":

"How Does God Love the World Through Me?"

FaithQuest wants to be ...

  • a church that promotes a lifestyle of worship, not just a Sunday morning experience.
  • a people who show the love of God, with absolutely no strings attached!
  • a church that honors those who are trying to hold their family together without the help of a spouse.
  • a community that empowers other churches.
  • a church that contributes to reviving our denomination, the United Methodist Church.
  • a safe and welcoming home for families with special needs children.
  • an environment where broken people can seek healing without being judged.
  • a place to build faith-forming relationships.
  • a place for people to work out their "God Questions".
  • a church where, if you come twice then you're one of us!
  • a  resource for those who already have a ministry that God has called them to.
  • and someday, to plant more churches.
